Check it works

Two checks that the agent is connected and can use its secrets.

Step 1: Ask what it can see

Ask it: List my vault secrets. It should name the secrets you gave it, never their values.

Step 2: Use a secret

Ask it to use one. Each use shows in your vault under Activity.

Get help

If the agent says wundervault-agent is not running for agent …

The broker isn't running on that computer, or the agent hasn't enrolled. Set up the computer, then paste the message again.

If the agent says unauthorized

It has an old connection, usually after a repair. Paste the repair's message into its chat, and remove any WUNDERVAULT_AGENT_TOKEN line from its settings.

If the agent sees no secrets

You haven't given it any yet. Give it a secret.
